About Rachel

Endlessly curious.

Deeply strategic.

Always people-first.

Hi, I'm Rachel — a Seattle-based social media strategist, content creator, and former journalist who genuinely loves the work of helping brands find and tell their story. I've spent 15+ years doing what I love — building strategy, telling stories, and bringing people together.

Experience & Expertise

I've had the privilege of working with both household names and dynamic entrepreneurs — and the range is something I'm genuinely proud of. My work has appeared with National Geographic Traveler, Allrecipes, Thrillist, The Kitchn, Shipt, Simple Mills, and many more.

I've managed social media audiences of over 3 million followers, captured portraits for magazine covers, and built strategies for brands at every stage of growth. I bring a mix of creativity, strategy, and curiosity to every project.

A Real,

Human Approach

Fun Facts:

• I've called Seattle home for 12+ years — after growing up in the Midwest and a brief stint on the East Coast after college.

• I enthusiastically fostered cats for Seattle Persian & Himalayan Rescue for years.

• It's my personal mission to visit every farmers market in the greater Seattle area — Olympia to Woodinville, Port Townsend and beyond. Currently about 95% complete.

• I’m obsessed with building community in real life, too. I’ve been interviewed by Seattle Metropolitan magazine about my journey of making new friends as an adult. Read it here.

Storytelling has shaped my life from the start — like starting a $1 weekly print newsletter in fifth grade and studying journalism at the University of Missouri before I ever knew what a content strategy was.

That early curiosity never went away. It just evolved. Now it shows up in the way I approach every brand I work with — asking the right questions, digging into what makes them genuinely different, and building strategy that’s unique and impactful.

I believe the best content doesn't just perform well. It resonates, drives action, and tells a story.
